Learn the structural elements of wine, and how to identify and evaluate them.
In this class, you will learn how to calibrate your palate so you can identify wine’s 5 structural elements: acidity, tannins, alcohol, residual sugar, and oak.
What you can expect:
- 6 Examples of neutral wine featuring different structural elements;
- 3 Tasting pours of wines that showcase these elements.
What you will learn:
- Wine’s different structural components;
- How to identify levels of acidity, alcohol, residual sugar, oak, and tannin;
- How to describe what you’re tasting and your wine preferences.
Class Level: Beginner
Age Requirements: 21 and older
Class runs approximately 75 minutes. Kiki & snacks to follow. We have the event space until 3:30pm. Both vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
